Finding the right celebrant who ‘gets’ what you want on the biggest day of your life can be a bit daunting at first. The only way to know for sure is to meet them face to face, have a chat and see how you ‘click’.

I’ll explain what I’ll do leading up to your ceremony and on your big day and answer all your questions about the process of marriage. We’ll discuss the ceremony you have in mind, elements or ideas you might like to include and the words you must include. I’ll ensure that your ceremony and the preparations are stress-free, fun and memorable for all the right reasons!

Personal vows

If you’d like to include personal vows I’m happy to offer as little or as much assistance as you would like.  Your personal vows should reflect what you would like to say and promise the person you are about to marry. If they feel right for you, they are perfect!

choosing me as your celebrant

Following our first meeting, I’ll hold your date for a week. If you decide that I tick all your boxes and everything feels groovy, let me know and we can get started! A booking fee locks in your date & secures my undivided attention for your day.

I’ve collaborated with fabulous stylists, photographers, florists, musicians, videographers, creators of cakes and more! I’ll happily rustle up recommendations and introductions. I’ll only recommend people who I know will deliver 5-star service and are of course, super lovely people!

creating your wedding ceremony & vows

following our first meeting…

I’ll prepare your legal documents for our signatures when we next meet. You’ll receive questionnaires, resources, guidance and inspiration for your ceremony script and personal vows should you wish to include them. I’ll be inspired and eager to channel my creativity and do my absolute best when crafting your marriage ceremony.  When the first draft is hot off the press I’ll be in touch to arrange our second catch up. From there we’ll edit to your heart’s content. I want you to be 110% over the moon happy with your wedding ceremony and to love it!

At Our Second appointment…

We’ll sign and witness your legal documents. You’ll need to provide me with evidence of your date and place of birth, your identity and if applicable the end of any previous marriages. I may also ask you to complete a statutory declaration to support your evidence.  I’ll let you know exactly what to bring along to our second meeting in advance. You can read my guide to pre-marriage paperwork here.

We’ll discuss the finer details of your marriage ceremony script and ceremony logistics. We’ll also do a run-through of your ceremony at this meeting.  You’ll leave our catch up feeling confident knowing who’s doing what and when. Remember it’s completely ok if you’re super excited on the day and forget everything we’ve discussed. I’ll quietly guide you and your wedding team through each step of your marriage ceremony on your wedding day so you can focus on each other and the moment, rather than what do I do next?

what to expect in the lead up to your big day

We walk the walk & talk the Talk

If you’re super keen to rehearse, we can arrange a run-through provided your marriage ceremony location is local and available. We can take it from the top with your wedding party in tow or keep it low key with just the two of you. 

I’ll stay in touch throughout your wedding preparations and will arrange a chat with you both in the lead up to your wedding day. We’ll do a final check that your legal documents are in order, all ceremony details are correct and chat about any last-minute changes or questions you may have. We’ll feel like old friends when your big day arrives.

    What to bring to your rehearsal?

    Just your lovely selves, your wedding team if they’re available and most importantly a sense of fun. If you’d like to practice timing your walk in or out, bring along your ceremony songs. I’ll let you know in advance if I need you to bring anything additional along with you.

    It’s time to celebrate you as a couple and tie the knot…

    I’ll arrive to your wedding ceremony venue or location excited and ready to go at least 30 minutes before your ceremony is set to commence. I’m super organised and resourceful so there’s not too much that will stand in the way of me marrying you in a ceremony to remember, for all the right reasons!

    With my professional Bose S1 PA & wireless mic charged and at the ready, I’ll deliver you and your guests a crystal-clear ceremony. I’m mindful of your photographer and videographer’s needs throughout the proceedings and am more than happy to work with them to ensure they have their best shot at capturing all your beautiful moments. Following your I do’s, I’ll lodge your marriage & keep you informed of your marriage registration. Congratulations! Enjoy your just married status!
