Genene was an amazing celebrant and my husband and I were so lucky to have her be part of our special day! Genene wasn’t pushy which was a big selling point for us. She communicated with us frequently through email and also met with us in the lead up to our ceremony, she even made the trip out to our wedding venue to meet with us there.

She was very organised and always promptly replied to our emails, which were very thorough. Genene gave us the opportunity to tailor the ceremony to our needs and likes. She also created a wonderful ‘love story’ from questionnaires that we answered privately and it was a lovely touch to read through these after we got married – we are grateful for having that special moment after our wedding day. Genene went out of her way to drop by to see me before I walked down the aisle and made it a point to introduce herself to all the people involved in our ceremony. As my husband and I got married during COVID-19, there were many uncertain things we had to deal with, including plans changing constantly. However, Genene remained optimistic and positive throughout the process, offering her help and assistance where possible.
